Welcome to Franklin Avenue Baptist Church’s 2012 Marriage Retreat which will be held at The Battle House Renaissance in Mobile, Alabama.

This years conference is slated for JULY 27th-29th

Below you will find a listing of rooms and the cost per room. Your full registration cost will include the following accommodations: a stay of 2 nights and 3 days, on-site parking, breakfast (Saturday & Sunday) and dinner at the Saturday night event.

Restaurants are located on site.


Originally built in 1852 and closed in the mid-1970's, The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel & Spa has been restored to all it
s original grandeur. Following elaborate and costly renovations, The Battle House reopened in May 2007 and was named as one of the “Top 500 Hotels in the World” by Travel + Leisure in 2009. The hotel has also been named one of National Geographic Traveler's “Top Places to Stay” in North America and was named a favorite by Coastal Living. Restaurants and located on site include the lovely Trellis Room, which offers a delectable spread of Italian fare and the Joe Cain Cafe open for breakfast and lunch lures guests with delicious snippets such as gourmet coffees, pastries and pretty little sandwiches.

The 238 gracious guest rooms, new spa and historic lobby, restaurant and ballrooms make The Battle House the perfect urban retreat for business and leisure guests with an affinity for the finer things in life. The hotel has 35,000 square feet of meeting space and is connected to RSA Battle House Tower which hosts the world renowned Spa.


All workshops and activities will be held and located at the Battle House Renaissance Hotel & Spa (Conference Hotel). Attendees choosing to be accommodated at the Conference hotel are encouraged to pay their registration fees in advance and in full.

ATTIRE:
All attendees are asked to wear the FABC conference shirt during the sessions and appropriate attire for the Saturday evening event. Please continue to visit the website for more information in regard to this event.

SPIRITUAL CONDUCT :
Please respect our church covenant and refrain from the use of alcohol as an intoxicating beverage, respect the privacy of others during all cell phone conversations, heated “debates or discussions” and by refraining from the use of profanity.

Initial Deposit of $100 is due at the time of registration to reserve your room however, the full amount noted below is due by May 30, 2012 to confirm your participation.  Payments recieved after May 30th will not guarantee yoo a room in the main conference hotel. We must meet our commitment in the conference hotel by May 30th. Therefore ALL FULLY paid rooms will be used to fufill the commitment. Additional rooms are secured at Renaissance Riverview Hotel one block away.

Note: The Executive King & King Jr. Suites are the same size however the Executive King Suite has a separate bedroom and the King Jr. Suite does not.

Registrants have an option to PAY IN FULL OR after the initial deposit is made, utilize the following payment plan: 1st due: 2/15/12, 2nd due:

3/15/12 and final due by 5/15/12. Last date to register AND pay in full: 5/30/12

CANCELLATION POLICY:
A refund (less the initial deposit of $100) will be made only if notice of cancellation is received by 03/01/2012. We regret that NO REFUND will be given after this date. If a registration is cancelled a souvenir conference shirt will be provided after the retreat.
