Congregational Care

Congregational Care exists to come alongside those in the FABC family through seasons of sorrow, sickness, and setbacks. The ministry provides support from hospital and home visits to guiding members who are grieving.

Caring Congregation

It is important that we remain connected to and supportive of those in this body of believers and community of fellowship. The Congregational Care update, normally shared during Sunday worship, is now available to encourage your prayers throughout the week.

As we all need prayer, please remember those among our church family who are currently dealing with health issues at home or in other places, such as nursing and rehabilitation facilities, and assisted living facilities.

Weddings

As you begin to plan your nuptials, please take the following steps:
  1. First, select an officiant to preside over your ceremony. If you would like a Franklin Avenue Baptist Church minister to serve as your officiant, please fill out a Wedding Officiant Request Form. After you have completed and submitted this form, the pastoral office will contact you and place you on the pastoral office calendar.
  2. Once your date has been confirmed with the pastoral office, please fill out a Wedding Request Form. Fill out and submit the information and you will then be contacted and asked to come in and meet and fill out the appropriate paperwork to secure your space for your wedding.
Note: Two very important criteria must be met before a couple can be married in our sanctuary:
  • You must be a member of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church.
  • You must attend 6 premarital classes
