Franklin Avenue’s Marriage Ministry would like to invite Married Couples to our 2026 Marriage Retreat held Friday, August 14th – Sunday, August 16th, in Destin, FL, at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, steps away from The Village at Baytowne Wharf, which features an array of dining, shopping, and fun activities. Our theme this year is Marriage by Design, a weekend thoughtfully crafted to refresh, restore, and refocus your marriage. Please join us and invite your married friends to allow God to create masterpieces of our Marriages by His design, like beautiful works of art. Come away for 2 nights and 3 days, where your marriage becomes the canvas and God is the Artist. Join us for a Marriage Retreat Experience where you and your spouse will reconnect, refocus, and rediscover the beauty of God’s intentional design for your marriage. You’ll experience some much-needed time away from your daily routine, a vow renewal, spiritual growth sessions, and curated couples’ activities and fun.
 
Sign Up Online Today. Franklin Avenue is streamlining our registration process, so we are no longer accepting cash on-site. We encourage all participants to sign up online using either a credit card or an e-check. In order to register, you must pay an initial deposit of at least $200; some deposits are higher. However, feel free to pay more than your deposit or pay the entire cost of your retreat. If you decide to follow our payment schedule, please adhere to the payment schedule dates, as we have strict payment obligations to our retreat site. After November 15th, the initial deposit is non-refundable. No refunds can be given after Mar 15th.

Hotel Effie offers guests the opportunity to be located within steps of the Village of Baytowne Wharf and close to resort activities, while secluded in the luxury of their guest rooms. There are various room types in the Hotel. The Beach is a quick tram ride away. The complimentary tram runs every 15 minutes.

CANCELLATION POLICY

After November 15th the initial deposit is non-refundable. No refunds can be given after March 15th.

REMINDER

When you make your payment save and MAKE NOTE OF YOUR PAYMENT CONFIRMATION NUMBER as it will be used again, and USE THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS used at initial registration for subsequent payments, so we can properly identify your record.

These spacious 500-square-foot guestrooms give you excellent views of the Pyramids. The 1,280 square foot Presidential Suite features one king bed and offers coastal elegance with breathtaking views. The 3-room suite includes a king bedroom, spacious living room and hospitality kitchen. It features a full bank of windows overlooking the bay and a private balcony. The optional connecting ADA Double Queen room means up to 6 guests can enjoy this luxurious space.

Sandestin One Bedroom

2026 Marriage Retreat

THE GRAND COMPLEX offers guests the opportunity to be located within steps of the Village of Baytowne Wharf and Sandestin's Baytowne Conference Center and close to resort activities, while secluded in the luxury of their guest rooms. There are two room types in the Grand Complex, which are 1-Bedrooms and Studios. These rooms are fully furnished with either a full kitchen (One Bedrooms) or a Kitchenette (Studios), and living and dining areas. Bedding consists of either a King or Queen Bed, so King Size Beds are not guaranteed. The Beach is a quick tram ride away. The complimentary tram runs every 15 minutes.
