RESET Camp 2022 - Franklin Avenue Baptist Church - Exalting the Savior

412 Student Ministries would like to invite students to this year’s RESET CAMP held Friday, June 24th - Monday, June 27th in Shocco Springs, AL at the Shocco Springs Baptist Conference Center 1314 Shocco Springs Rd. Talladega, AL 35160.

Come for 3 nights and 4 days of getting closer to God and having a great time doing it with recreation, team-building, breakout classes, creative arts, and more! This registration is only for Franklin Avenue Baptist Church students, who are members. FABC has subsidized the cost of RESET CAMP from $259, to $160 for our students.

Students will be assigned an FABC chaperone in a 1 to 4 ratio, so 4 teen girls will have a female adult chaperone in a dorm with 5 beds, and 4 teen boys will have a male adult chaperone in a dorm with 5 beds. The camp will be from Friday, June 24th through Monday, June 27th. Our camp will have cell phone restrictions, which require designated chaperones to hold your camper’s phones from check-in Friday throughout the weekend for only emergency calls to parents. Cell phones will be returned to campers on the return trip home Monday, June 27th. The camp will have a nurse on staff.

A mandatory parent meeting will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm in the Youth Sanctuary. For any questions contact Pastor Chip Luter at 504-488-8488 Ext 303. Sign up online today.

Other than the subsidized cost of $160 students will need to bring the following:

$25 cash with them for lunch on the road going to camp and lunch on road returning from camp.
$10 for the high ropes course on site. (optional)
$10 for the aqua park on the lake. (optional)

Optional activity costs are paid directly to RESET Camp staffers on the day of the activities at camp.

In addition to your online registration and $160 payment, CLICK HERE to print FABC’s Hold Harmless Permission Slip and drop it off at the church office. If you can’t print forms, please pick up a Hold Harmless Permission Slip from the church office receptionist desk.

ALSO, AFTER YOU HAVE PAID FABC, IT IS REQUIRED FOR YOU TO CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE YOUR CAMP REGISTRATION DIRECTLY WITH RESET CAMP SO THEY CAN GATHER PERTINENT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR CAMPER AND FOR YOU TO COMPLETE THEIR MANDATORY FORMS.

FABC IS SUBSIDIZING YOUR CAMP COST, SO DON’T BE ALARMED BY THE $259 COST ON RESET CAMP’S WEBSITE. YOU WILL NOT MAKE A PAYMENT ON THEIR SITE, SO AT THE END OF THEIR FORM SELECT THE OPTION “PAY TOTAL AMOUNT THROUGH MY GROUP LEADER” which will allow you to submit their form without payment as you will have already paid FABC directly.
